Juniors win Four Golds at FSRA North District

The PRC Juniors participated in the Florida Scholastic Rowing Association North District Championships on April 5th of 2025.  The North District is from Pensacola to Jacksonville. This was the first time a team from Pensacola has ever participated in the championship. The Juniors entered twelve boats that netted nine medals. Four of these were gold with wins by Carsyn Clanton in the Girls Varsity 1x, Finn Waddell in the Boys Varsity 1x, Danny Magaw in the Boys Junior 1x, and Lukas Aung with Zan Degraaf in the Boys Lightweight 2x. The freshman crew of Caroline Woods, Chase Nolen, Antonio Brewster, James Langevin, and Brian Brewster scored a silver medal in the coxed four. Jameson Rose performed a courageous back-to-back event double in the single and quad to win medals in each. Novice and senior Antonio El Sayah won a silver in the varsity pair. In the last race of the regatta, Felicity Scanlon and Sunny Magaw raced in the girls junior double to win a silver medal.  A fantastic performance for Pensacola Rowing Club Juniors in their first challenge to the North District Championship.
